• 3-27-24: San Jose State announced Michael Smith has been hired as running back coach.
• 3-14-24: Hawaii announced Derek Faavi has been hired as their offensive line coach.
• 3-8-24: Boise State has hired Brandon Jones as their general manager.
• 3-2-24: Deonte Gibson named the DEs coach at Air Force.
• 3-1-24: San Diego State has hired David Lose as their defensive line coach.
• 2-26-24: Baylor has hired SDSU DL coach Inoke Breckterfield.
• 2-25-24: Air Force DL coach E.J. Whitlow is taking the same role at Wisconsin.
• 2-23-24: Nevada announced Nico Johnson as their DE coach.
• 2-22-24: Utah State announced the following hires: Nate Dreiling (DC), Cedric Douglas (DL), Kwame Agyeman (S), Jalen Ortiz (CB), Bobby McMillen (LB), and Jimmy Beal (RB)
• 2-12-24: San Diego State announced Inoke Breckterfield as their new DL coach.
• 2-10-24: Hawaii’s Co-OC and OL coach is expected to join the Miami Dolphins.
• 2-10-24: Boise State OC Bush Hamdan is expected to take the same position at Kentucky,
• 2-7-24: Wyoming DL coach Oscar Giles will reportedly join Houston’s staff. Wyoming then hired Jeff Phelps to replace him.
• 2-2-24: San Jose State announced the following hirings: Al Lapuaho (DL), Bojay Filimoeatu (ILB), Greg Burns (CB), John Estes (OL), Josh Irvin (OLB), Marcus Thomas (RB), Mike Judge (TE).
• 1-29-24: San Diego State DL coach Al Lapuaho will reportedly join the SJSU coaching staff.
• 1-25-24: San Jose State has reportedly completed its football coaching staff.
• 1-24-24: San Jose State announced Derrick Odom as DC/S coach and associate head coach.
• 1-24-24: UNLV promoted Nicco Fertitta to S coach.
• 1-23-24: Hawaii hired Anthony Arceneaux as RB coach.
• 1-22-24: 1-22-24: San Jose State hires Craig Stutzmann as OC/QB coach.
• 1-21-24: San Jose State hired Ken Niumatalolo to be their head coach.
• 1-20-24: San Jose State is targeting Ken Niumatalolo as their next head coach.
• 1-19-24: Hawaii announced the hirings of Dennis Thurman (DC/CBs), Dan Morrison (OC/QB), and Jeff Reinebold (DTs).
• 1-19-24: Nevada named Jim Mastro their General Manager.
• 1-18-24: San Diego State hired Mike Schmidt as their OL coach.
• 1-16-23: Arizona hired San Jose State HC Brent Brennan as their head coach.
• 1-15-23: Boise State announced Stacy Collings as LB coach, ST coordinator, and assistant head coach.
• 1-13-24: Utah State will reportedly hire Jalen Ortiz, likely for a position in the secondary.
• 1-12-24: Wyoming has hired Jason Petrino as their safeties coach.
• 1-12-24: Boise State will reportedly hire Stacy Collins as the LB/ST coordinator.
• 1-10-24: Utah State will reportedly hire Nate Dreiling as their new defensive coordinator.
• 1-10-24: Wyoming announced Jay Johnson as their OC/QB coach.
• 1-9-24: Fresno State hired Matt Smith as their OL coach.
• 1-4-24: Wyoming will reportedly hire Jay Johnson as OC/QB coach.
• 1-3-24: Colorado State announced Chuka Ndulue as their DL coach.
• 1-2-24: Timmy Chang announced Hawaii would not retain Eti Ena (co-DC/DT), Ian Shoemaker (co-OC/TE), and Steven Irvin (CBs) as coaches.
• 12-28-23: Nevada announced Payam Saadat as the interior defensive line coach and associate head coach.
• 12-27-23: Nevada announced Joey Thomas as secondary coach and passing game coordinator.
• 12-26-23: Nevada announced Jacquies Smith as the defensive ends coach.
• 12-22-23: Nevada announced Mike Lynch as the running backs coach and interim OC, announced James Price as the interim WR coach, and also announced Brian Armstrong as the OL coach and run game coordinator.
• 12-21-23: Boise State announced Tyler Stockton as the safeties coach and co-defensive coordinator.
• 12-21-23: Nevada announced Parker Henry as their LB/Special Teams Coach.
• 12-21-23: East Carolina is reportedly hiring UNLV safeties coach Damon Magazu.
• 12-20-23: Aaron Bohl has been promoted to DC.
• 12-20-23: New Mexico announced their entire coaching staff. Jason Beck (OC/QB), Nick Howell (DC), Shane Hunter (Special Teams/LBs), Famika Anae (OL), Kirk Garner (RB), Matt Johns (TE), Jan Jorgensen (EDGE), Charles Mack (DB), Micah Simon (WR), Donte Wilkins (DL), plus support staff.
• 12-19-23: New Mexico is hiring Jason Beck as OC.
• 12-19-23: New Mexico is hiring Matt Johns (presumably to coach QBs)
• 12-18-23: Nevada hired Kane Ioane as their DC and David Gilbertson as the QB/WR coach.
• 12-16-23: North Dakota State has hired Wyoming OC Tim Polasek as its head coach.
• 12-15-23: Nevada will reportedly hire David Gilbertson as their QB coach. They are also set to hire Jason Loscalzo as strength coach and Joey Thomas as DB coach.
• 12-15-23: San Diego State announced the hiring of Eric Schmidt (DC/LB), C.J. McGorisk (Safeties), Rob Aurich (EDGE), and will retain two coaches from the previous staff.
• 12-14-23: Nevada will reportedly look to hire Matt Lubick as their OC, pending his health.
• 12-14-23: San Diego State will reportedly hire Eric Schmidt as DC and Rob Aurich as edge rushers coach.
• 12-11-23: It is reported that New Mexico will hire Charles Mack to coach the secondary.
• 12-10-23: San Diego State has hired Lanear Sampson as their WR coach.
• 12-6-23: Nevada is reportedly moving on from at least 7 coaches.
• 12-6-23: Troy Calhoun has reportedly interviewed for the Tulane job.
• 12-6-23: Wyoming announced that Craig Bohl is retiring. A few minutes later, it was announced that DC Jay Sawvel will be the new head coach following the bowl game.
• 12-6-23: Bronco Mendenhall has been hired as the New Mexico head coach.
• 12-5-23: Bryant Vincent has been hired by ULM as their new head coach.
• 12-5-23: San Diego State announced a number of coaching hires today. Zac Barton (Associate Head Coach/Special Teams Coordinator), Bill O’Boyle (Run Game Coordinator/Offensive Line), Matt Johnson (Quarterbacks), Jeff Sobol (Head of Football Performance)
• 12-5-23: It is being reported that Darian Hagan will be the RB coach at SDSU.
• 12-5-23: It is being reported that New Mexico has 3 final candidates for their head coaching job; Bronco Mendenhall, Matt Wells and Rocky Long
• 12-4-23: Nevada officially hired Jeff Choate as their head coach.
• 12-3-23: Colorado State DL coach Buddha Williams is leaving to be the DE coach at Indiana
• 12-3-23: Boise State hired Spencer Danielson as their head coach. He was their interim coach and defensive coordinator.
• 12-3-23: Jeff Chote has emerged as the likely hire to be Nevada’s head coach.
• 12-3-23: UTEP is interviewing UNLV OC Brennan Marion today. He is among four finalists.
• 12-3-23: UL-Monroe will likely hire New Mexico OC Bryant Vincent as its next head coach.
• 12-1-23: Nevada fired head coach Ken Wilson.
• 11-29-23: It is being reported that Barry Odom is among those on Houston’s wishlist for their opening.
• 11-29-23: San Diego State officially announced Sean Lewis as their new head coach.
• 11-28-23: Boise State stated they will not have another announcement on their coaching search until after the championship game.
• 11-28-23: It is being reported that Colorado OC Sean Lewis will be San Diego State’s next head football coach.
• 11-25-23: New Mexico has fired head coach Danny Gonzales.
• 11-25-23: Boise State stated they will do in-person interviews today.
• 11-22-23: Boise State has reportedly interviewed/had conversations with 9 different candidates.
• 11-21-23: SDSU contacted UNLV OC Brennan Marion for their coaching vacancy.
• 11-21-23: SDSU contacted Nebraska DC Tony White for their coaching vacancy.
• 11-13-23: San Diego State announced that head coach Brady Hoke would retire at the end of the season.
• 11-12-23: Boise State fired head coach Andy Avalos.
• 11-6-23: New Mexico fired special teams coach Jamie Christian.
